Title: Through the Looking Glass
What: Harry Potter fanfiction - one-shot
Rating: G
Words: 906
Summary: Originally written for a [livejournal.com profile] hogwarts_elite Hogsmeade Weekend challenge in April 2006: Write a fiction piece (500 words minimum) that describes the experiences of a Hogwarts student when they received their letter of acceptance to Hogwarts. Your piece should include the method of delivery of the letter (i.e. where they were, how they received it, etc.) as well as the chosen character's reaction and any reaction from family or friends. You may use any character except for Harry. Hermione waits for the mail and steps through the looking glass, and I manage to spout off about Wellington College.
Sample: This is wrong, horribly wrong: This is the twentieth century... )

Title: Hurricane Epsilon
What: Digimon Tamers fanfiction - short story
Rating: PG
Words: 2388
Summary: Seven years is a long time to like someone, even when you don't realize it until about year six. One-sided Shuichon/Ryo, one-sided Ryo/Ruki mentioned in passing (literally). Vague references to What Comes Next and even vaguer to When Sane People Are Asleep, otherwise standalone. Written for [livejournal.com profile] 15pairings using theme #15 - obsession and the [livejournal.com profile] 1sentence theme set Epsilon.
Notes: Hurricane Epsilon was an unusually persistent hurricane in late 2005. The numbers are the order of sentences, and then the numbers after the decimal points are the actual numbers of the themes, so for example "twenty-seven point three five" is sentence #27 using theme #35. Oh, and I used the canon ages for once!
